Few glimpses from a flower market...

Had recently visited a local flower marker ~ vendors scattered on the roads along with a lot of yellow, red, orange and white flowers. The purpose was to capture street vendors in some interesting angles and situations in the market. Have tried to capture the street vendors in their different moods, their activity and their surrounding with the elements of the street.

Here are some glimpses from the visit...

Flower markets are real nice places to be in !!!

I wondering why you chose to use partial blur (Probably Picasa) in some of your photographs. I think they were looking good otherwise too!

I somehow like the partial blur..adds an unreal touch to an otherwise routine activity.

@ Prashant: yep u guessed right..that's picasa's one step blur :)

Had chosen to blur a few images a little just to remove certain distracting elements in the frame, which i was not able to avoid while shooting...

@ Veda: Thanks Veda, glad you liked the images.

The motorcycle looks expensive and powerful, like it doesn't belong in the scene with the vendor. It has much narrower tires than I would expect to see here in the U.S.

@ snowbrush: u see this flowermarket is spread by the side of a busy road in the city, so you would see the mix...i had chosen to include the bikes in the two pics to incorporate this angle. also a few other elements in the pics would stress on this.
