What a wonderful photographer you are! I'm so glad I came across your blog.
I can see those are memories,
but maybe their own private memories,
memories that exist not to be remembered.
Locked in the forgetting structure
that holds them.

thats an interesting interpretation u had there...what i had in my mind was ~ 'memory' is something which gets blurred with time...no matter how strong u hold on to it...
if u see, the marks of age on the rods show the passage of time and the increasing blurring of the subsequent rods show the blurring of the memories with time ~ however intense they might be in the beginning...for this effect the first rod had to be in sharp focus and the remaining out of focus...
..that sounds wonderful
